Has anyone heard what is going to be released for 2010?

Kawi -- do they step up to an 850cc Teryx, or is it the same 750 with BNG?

Polaris -- any changes for the RZR?

Arctic Cat -- any changes to their line up, particulary the 1000cc Prowler?

Yamaha -- when is the dealer show? Whats new for Yamaha in 2010?

Honda -- is the Big Red still a Big Dud? Anything coming from Honda that performs?

Can Am -- ??

From an actual Kawi rep....No 850; this would bring the price up taking which is against Kawi's philosophy of keeping a low cost high featured machine. The V-Force will most likely get EFI.


Polaris -- any changes for the RZR?
Haven't heard anything substantial.

Arctic Cat -- any changes to their line up, particulary the 1000cc Prowler?
No news other that a 1000 Mud Cat.

Yamaha -- when is the dealer show? Whats new for Yamaha in 2010?
Rumor has it the dealer show is being cancelled this year.

Honda -- is the Big Red still a Big Dud? Anything coming from Honda that performs?

Its too bad one of the manufacturers doesn't do something with their UTV. The concept is good, and I would love to own one, but every one I've driven is so darn gutless it doesn't even have enough power to get out of its own way. They're boring with their present state of tune.

Going to be hard to scrape 50 lbs off that machine. Maybe 25 if you convert it to chain drive. Probably go with aluminum alloy A-arms and shed weight. But then you are driving up the price to where not everyone could afford it.

I do not have a lot of seat time in a UTV but I can see you point that they could become quite boring with a little time. At least you can get yourself in that "pucker factor" mode with a quad quite easily.

I think the cost of producing the machine you are talking about wouldn't be cost effective. Meaning a very low percentage of the population could or would want to afford it. I think if you want a UTV that performs the way you are talking you'd have to pick a model and build it up it yourself. JMHO

They look tough. They look like a Rhino in some pics and a Teryx in others. Any details on what it is built off of?
