This will go good with her 55 dollar gloves that I bought her to ride in. They have a wiper on the back of the little finger to wipe her goggles. Oh well at least she ain't scared of much. Turtle head and grizzlywizzard can vouch for that.

Are the speakers waterproof or anything? She would have it bar deep in water the first time out.

Nope not water proof. The liners are poly and have gotten snow and light water on them. If you get Boss marine or any speakers out of Overton's they will take a good dose of water. keep in mind no speaker will withstand a submersion.

I know it's not the same thing, but when i want to listen to music when i ride i have a set of very thin headphones that fit into the earholes of your helmet with a disconnect and a coiled cord for my ipod.
They are much more comfortable than having your earbuds in with your helmet on and sounds great too.
My next purchase to compliment them is an otterbox with a ram mount for the ipod to make it easier to control rather than keeping it in my pocket.
I don't know if i can post a link to the headphone site or not so i wont.

I still don't get it? Can't Imagine wanting music while I'm riding. But anyway, unless you are doing laxadazy riding, I think the set up Scott mentioned would be best. If your in mud and water often you'll be replacing things often. JMO To each their own ride on folks.
Thom build his setup to have some music while icefishing! :eek:ccasion14:
