I just (last week) ordered a Warn front bumper for my 08 Griz.
I noticed from the various pics and posts that a lot of you have aftermarket bumpers.
While shopping I also noticed that very few aftermarket companies make front or rear bumpers for the Griz.
I think I read here somewhere that GRIZZLYWIZARD sports a Warn bumper.
If you have a 07-08 Griz with a front or rear bumper what brand is it, and do you like it?

If you have another quad with a front or rear bumper what brand is it and are you happy with the quality?

I will be shopping for a rear bumper soon and I would like to start collecting brand names now for research.

Thanx....

Well the bumper came in on Friday but when I opened the box it wasnt the bumper I ordered.
I had ordered this bumper..

but got this one..

as you can see they are to very different bumpers, so different that I had to look at the part numbers and the directions to see if it was the Grizzly bumper.
It is so I decided to go ahead and install it anyway.

It came packaged very well and it was undamaged.

I was planning on doing a step by step with pictures but Warn already did that.
There was one or two parts that confused me a little because of bad images so I took pictures of those.
One was how to install the 2 vertical large mounting brackets here..

and the other was the small bracket that holds the bottom of the bumper here..

so after about 45 minutes which included time to stop and take pictures the bumper was installed. The installation could be done in 30 minutes or less the 1st time and probably 15 minutes everytime after that.

If there was one tool that I could say "I am sure glad I had this one" it would be these Craftsman ratcheting box end wrenches. They definitely made getting into the tight spots behind the bumper easy.

Now that it's installed I think I may like it better than the larger original bumper.

Next I have to re-install my PIAA lights..

Great write up! I think that you will like that bumper a lot. There are only a couple on the market for the 700 that look good.

The reference you made in the first picture was for the 660 grizzly you can tell by the front A-arm guards. Unless Warn decided to make 2 models. Did they?

I only saw one on their website was for the "Grizzly" and it was the only one pictured and the instructions on this model stated 07 Grizzly 700. So the picture could very well be the 600 bumper.

Either way, what I like about this bumper is that there are no rectangle cut outs for the lights, instead if you want the warn lights they come with a bracket that bolts onto the bumper. This way if you dont use the lights you dont have the empty rectangle holes in your bumper.

The 660 model and 700 model are very different. I can only speculate that the 600 model would be similar to the 660. The 700 bumper, such as the one pictured in this thread is much more sleek looking than the 660 bumper which looks like it belongs on a service truck. (Not that that is a bad thing.)

Very nice bumper I've been thinking about a bumper for a while but just don't think the warn gives that much protection. What do you think rat ? It looks good, any trail time on it yet? Weight, effect on handling? Thanks for any info .

I like the bumper.
I think it's the best looking one for the 07-up Grizzlys.
As far as goes here is a look from the top.

You can see that it gives several inches of protection for the grill area. The above pic was taken with the lights mounted on the rack.
I have since moved them to here..

you can see that the bumper protects the grill area better, and the plastic on each side compared to no bumper..
