I haven't dyno'd this quad, but the dealers says it is some where areound 68-69HP. It is fast, but I don't know how fast yet. Fast doesn't concern me in reality. But I guess if you've got a big quad everyone wants a shot.
I'll see if I can't find a 450 Grizz, 700 Grizz, & 700 KFX just for kicks...you know...review purposes. NOT Saying I'll win, just saying the outty ain't skeered, even in stock form.
But the real point of this review isn't to see if the Outlander is the fastest Utility on the market, it is to check all aspects of it. Is it the wonder quad some claim or is it the flop that others claim? There really doesn't seem to be a "right down the middle" fan club for these quads. Is it jealosy or pride? I'll do my part to set the record straight. This will be a non biased consumer review and my goal is not to brag about how great my machine is, rather inform the ATV Consumer about the product's hits and misses. Unlike the manufacturer endorsed "shoot outs", this will not be a one sided contest.
I have 10.5 hours on the machine and have already started doubting many of the negative rumors I've heard.
