</td><td style="text-align: justify;">When I first set out to open my air box, I was really apprehensive about getting any old lid modification and I was even more concerned about the protection or the lack thereof when an air box lid is removed or vented to open it up. I feel that I’m not unlike many other riders out there who could safely ride with a vented air box most of time, but there are the occasions when our riding environment predicts that our box should be sealed back up either because of dust, water, or big altitude changes. While researching the different products on the market, I ran across the “Total Performance Intake Valve” or “TPI Valve” made by Thunder Products Inc. This valve is simple enough in design but offered something else, the ability to close the air box back up and the only thing that has to be done is take the seat off my quad! The TPI Valve is a valve that can be open and shut depending on rider preference and/or riding environment. What’s even more appealing is that the TPI Valve has a filter to increase the odds of protecting your machine against those dangerous elements.
After reading up on this product, I was sold. I called Thunder Products Inc. and had my TPI Valves on the way! So stay tuned for the full review which will be released soon.
