Ah heck...I never liked suprises. It's going to be a multi-tone black/grey flame pattern over bright yellow. I wanted to go old school yami yellow, and the guys at the shop wanted me to go with a bright green. I didn't want kawi colors (nothing against kawis) and they said it was such a dense pattern that it needed something bright to bring it out. So, as I said. It will look like crap or it will be trick.
(I'm still wondering how to get that 383 in my quad???) :evil6:

UPDATE:
The plastics where shipped (quite the experince there) and the design is in a hold status. The guys at the shop are going to dip something so I can see what it will look like. They want to be sure I'm 100% satisfied. Although I don't think I'm supposed to show anyone, the decal designs where sent to me as well. I also recieved the pipe for review so that along with the dial a jet will be going on this week (hopefully). It will suck not to be able to ride it! :crybaby2:

So send us the design. You can show us the design. We're gonna see it eventually. Install the pipe and send pics. Zip it down the road and give us an update on sound and power just from the pipe. Damnit, we wanna know performance gains for each piece, not just the total package.

On the decals, I don't want to piss anyone off, so those will be withheld.
On the pipe, I will install, and probably fire up the quad just to get a taste (or earfull) of it. From that point I will write my review teaser and send to GW so you guys will get the intial readings.
On the dial a jet. I will install after the pipe. To see if I can notice any differences. It does suck to not be able to do each one individually, but hey, when you pipe, you have to jet. May as well do it all when the plastics are off.
As far as zipping it down the road, no can do bro. I have more wires hanging loose than I can shake two sticks at. Not to mention no seat, which could be worked around...
So, stay tuned and hopefully I can get you guys a picture of the dip pattern and the review teaser on the pipe all this week. ;;t;;
Eeeasy bro...don't blow a gasket. :laughing7: As far as the plastics go, I can't show you the design because there isn't a picture of it. That's the problem. I'm going off of mental vision, which I am plenty mental, but vision is weak. So if they do indeed dip a sample and send to me I'll take picture for you guys. So is your vision of the flame something subtle like the new Yamaha Special edition black flame or something completely different. I think Yamis new SE black with a subtle flame is bad arse.

Ok, the flames are not like the new yami's. In fact you saying that questions my theme all together fearing I may be copying something unintentionaly. The flames are def. more noticable. I've attached a pic of the flame pattern. Keep in mind that the original plan had a bright yellow base coat under the flames which the shop said would be bearly visable.
