Here's a link to yesterdays ride. Lots of snow up high, :cold: but it's melt'in fast. I figure maybe one ... two more rides at the most ... and I'll be back on "Round-Rubber" ...
.... of course, if I didn't have to work, I could go everyday ... :icon_thumleft: .... but I still work ....
Anyway, here's a few photo's ... I took a little different trial & followed the Gas Pipe Line cut. Not sure I'd be able to climb some of this stuff with soft deep snow ... but next year I'm gonna try .... and I think I could do it from the East end .... but even that's steep.
There's one, where I'm look'in South down Skunk Creek valley ... and the only tracks you can see are mine ... amazing ... I saw a few sledders in my travels, but they were headed to other locations ... :cheer: ;;t;;
Then I have 5 photo's staring with "Low Bridge" ... coming down Skunk Creek Canyon, there where these quakies bent over the trail ... well ... I couldn't get under them, so I went around, and the last photo is where the Grizz is climbing a small tree ... it was pretty cool ... and those 5 photo's are taken from the video I took ... I'll try to get some of that loaded this week.
I also added some Google Earth maps & I posted one of the Map Profile from my mapping software that gives ya an idea of the climb & descent. In it, the green line is the elevation ... and the blue line is how the throttle was applied. :wav:
