BOSTON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - U.S. manufacturer Polaris Industries Inc (PII.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it named Scott Wine chief executive on Monday.
Wine, 41, an executive at United Technologies Corp's (UTX.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) fire and security unit, takes on the top role at the maker of snowmobiles and motorcycles on Sept. 1.
Wine will succeed Thomas Tiller, 47. The Minneapolis-based company said in January that Tiller would be stepping down by the end of the year, when his contract expires.
