The Fasst Flexx bars are very necessary for this type of riding and this type of machine.

Good pics. By the fiurst few I was wondering if you knew how to get the rear wheels off the ground or not.

:laughing7:

Yeah, the first few images I was warming up, testing the track and such. Just trying to get a feel for the layout. And also trying to get accustomed to the Flexx bars. Those puppies are very nice and well worth the money in my opinion for this type of terrain.

I have some more images to post in the next few days.
Awesome pics and looks like fun!
Very good quality photos. Who took them? It takes know how to capture those "special moments".

How do those Flex's hold up to those hits and how bout those Elka's you have strapped to the bottom? Are they doing the job?
Well the Elkas are not set up to handle the jumps. They are on the softer setting for XC terrain. As you will notice in the next image how the Elkas are doing.

My rear shock was bottoming out and later I found that the swing arm was slamming against the fuel tank. This was no good. To top it off, at the height we were launching on the 90' table top my rear tires were collapsing and the swing arm was slamming into the ground. Luckily it was a SRA machine else the CV joints would have probably had issues.

To do it over again, I would have to seriously think about buying Elka shocks.

I was always a bit apprehensive in regards to the effectiveness of the Fasst Flexx bars. I am definitely sold on them now though. They are a great mod, especially if you are doing any kind of aggressive riding / racing as illustrated in the previous images.

Here are some more images,

of the V topping the trees.

KFX450 on the 90

The sky is the limit...

BTW B-dub, when you wanna bring that canned-ham up and run it on the track just let me know. Or are you afraid you may scratch all the pretty off? :cheer:

However if you can't keep up, then we will have to change your name from Renegade Stud to Renegade Dud! ;;s;;

I'm shocked ( no pun intended) to hear your report on the Elkas! Do you think they can adjust them to handle such hits or will you keep that way for your races?

What do you mean B-Dub? Does he ride? Dang...I never knew that!
Well it's a nice photoshop job in the first pic in the last post. We all know GW's fat-ass can't get that high off the ground without image work.

As for the Elkas, they are certainly tunable for the jumps if he does enough jumps to warrant re-adjusting them. But, I think that his style is less of jumps and more of what they are set for.

I'm about to put Elkas on the Gade b/c I hate the X shocks compared to Elkas. Elkas are the fire.

I'll assure you that that was not a Photoshop job sir! 2 witnesses can vouch for that.

BG, I am not going to completely dis the Elka suspension. I have had the opportunity before to run other setups and I know how they react and behave; I think Elka is a great value, but I am ready to try something else.

Suspension is a very important performance upgrade. It is one of the most noticed upgrades that one can do. Many hardly every push the stock suspension to the limits.

Yeah. If you see me flying through the air like that, then either someone is trying to kill me or my throttle is stuck.

:hello:

Your computer Nazis probably have Photobucket restricted in the corporate router.

You would be correct Gunny...Hooah!
Great pic's, I'm with BG tho. The last time I rode like that, was on 2 wheels and I ended up with a broke bone and pride to match. I heal to slow now to get that crazy, don't get me wrong, I ride hard, but try to keep my jumps low and slow! :) Good photos!

Believe me, I know what you mean. I aint that far off from you in age, so I know how long it takes to heal and recover. I am still feeling Saturdays' escapades.

I know my limits and what I can safely get away with, I am relatively conservative when it comes to riding. Holeshot awards don't put too many meals on the table and trophies leave a funny taste in your mouth if you can't make it to work on Monday in one piece.

It is fun at time to ride like I'm 18 again.
If I had balls now that I had when I was 16 with the power I have now, I'd prolly wake up dead or a legend, or both. :confused5:
