It looks good and seems to be well built. Grizzly wizard didn't care for the mounting of it since it has one bracket that goes under the shock bolt. But, I kinda like that. Makes it sturdy.

That is interesting. Wonder why they didn't just use the single mount like the factory exhuast. I can't see it being a problem though. It's just another hard mount. If the shock bolt rotated all the time then I'd see an issue.

Let me explain. Yes it is for a trailer, my 5x10 utitlity trailer actually. Now I know you're going
.

Well here's the story: My neighbors asked me this year if I would do them a favor. They were having about 10 or so of the neighborhood kids come over for Halloween to do a scavenger hunt in the front yard of a house down the road that had built a graveyard scene. They asked if I would mind taking them down there and bringing them back on the trailer behind my Grizz b/c they would all be bringing pumpkins back home with them. I said of course not. As Halloween approached, I started thinking about me pulling a trailer full of kids aged from 8-14, down the road on Halloween night with no trailer lights. My mind immediately went into project mode. So, I bought a pigtail and wired 'em up.

I figured since I went through the trouble, why take 'em back off. Might need 'em next Halloween for a hay ride 'er sumthin.

As for the bracket, so this thread stays on task, I just can't imagine it transferring enough heat, or any for that matter. I'll have to test it on my next ride.

Koko, they also sent a heat shield that goes in between the gas tank and the frame to prevent it from heating the tank up.

Obviously, the extra support was added to prevent any twisting and flopping around. They also sent foil insulation tape that goes on the back side of the rear fender to prevent heat issues as well. It seems to me like they did a very good job when they built it and thought of everything that was needed for the install.
