New to the site. Would like to know if anybody has had any experience w/ Oxlite Stick guards & Aluminum products.com skid plates? I have a 2008 Grizzly 660, and I was looking at these products. Thanks for the help.

If the Oxlite guards are the ones that are steel, stay away from them. Better of to stay with aluminum guards. Aluminum product makes some great stuff, as does Ricochet Offroad. We have quite a bit of good experience and results of the Ricochet products. But you are on the right track, get your CV boot areas properly protected.

Why aluminum over the steel? Is it because of the weight? or rust? Thanks

Aluminum over steel for weight and yes, I guess rust would be a factor as well. After looking, I don't think PRM offers anything for the Grizz. There is always ricochet and of course the OEM Skids. (I think the Ricochets offer better protection though).

The Ricochets offer much better protection. I think one of the guys are reviewing the skids for the 660 right now.
