OK just got this from my contact at Maxxis.

Bighorn 2.0

Based on the legendary Bighorn, the new Bighorn 2.0 is a lightweight version that mimics the tread design of the original, with a slimmer profile. The non-directional pattern provides predictable cornering and claws up roots and rocks, creating optimum climbing confidence. The Bighorn 2.0 boasts a 6-ply rating, offering the durability that you’ve grown to expect from Bighorn tires.
For more information on the new Bighorn 2.0, visit your local dealer or go to Maxxis.com.
Here are the pictures I have just received.

I really like the seemingly flatter tread design on the new 2.0.

If they are 6ply, I wonder how they will comare to the Dirt Tamer. I know it is alot cheaper then the big horn, but is 6ply.. It would be interesting if Maxxis brought out theirs cheaper then the Dirt Tamer.

That would be nice :eek:ccasion14:

I did a fundraiser 2 years ago and bought a set of dirttamers for MuddyEiger over at Northeastatvers. The tread looks great and they were light weight. The downside is they puncture easy. His second ride out they had a flat. 6ply or not they were just not as durable. They just are not as durable.
