Here ya go! So far I love the Brute. The sound of the exhaust and the low to mid range power is awesome. I will say that my highly modded Grizz seemed better on the first half sec of acceleration from a stand still but I figure once I open the airbox, add a tuner and mod the clutch on the Brute that instant response will be there. After that half sec or less though the Brute is a freakin beast and will lose all traction and once it gets traction the front ends starts coming up. My Grizz would "pop" a wheelie easier from a stand still due to the instant throttle response but the Brute will wheelie with just the raw power it has from a standstill or while cruising along. It just takes a little more throttle and effort and this all may be that the stock tires can't get enough traction but I won't know till I get some decent one's. If I think about how much better I made my Grizz run compared to stock this Brute sends chills down my spine.There is no room for neglect on this site Bull. Thanks! Call me crazy but I dont need EPS. When trying to decide on which wheeler to get it was down to the Brute 750 and a Grizz 700 non EPS. I actually enjoyed the feel of the Brute today as I was putting around looking for mushrooms and then when I went out and ripped up a few trails to break her in. I even like the heavier steering my truck has. An 850 may have more power but I think I can squeeze enough out of the 750 for now.Nice looking machine. Any you can rest assured that Kawasaki will not be releasing an 850 with power steering. Their idea, that by adding more motor than most need, and adding the EPS, it creates a machine that is no longer affordable for those that want a big bore at an economical price.
Sharp looking ride Bull. And pretty lady as well.
I've been telling GW he should wait out the market, simply because he has two very nice quads already. If I were without a quad...there would be no waiting.
I think you've made a wise decision b/c I know you like to mod your stuff and the Brute has tons of mods out there. Speaking of which; what do you want to do first?
Thanks and you called it as I was tryin to change it last night! lol! Someone please tell me how and I will! May have to sign up all over again.That's a way nice look'in machine Bull700 ... :cheer: :cheer:
So tell me, are ya gonna change yer call-sign name to "Bull750" now ?? :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft:
Can't wait to see the mods you'll be do'in to it.ccasion14:
Again, Nice Look'in Machine !!! ;;t;;
Later ...
:seesaw:
Yeah I definatley want to learn what this machine is capable of in stock form once it is broken in. Thats why I probably will stick with stock rims and aftermarket 25" tires so I dont have to do the clutch just yet. I may go ahead and get the EHS lid and bullet box or the Copperhead which should be done testing wednesday and that will give me time to get it broke in by time it comes out.What you are most likely experiencing with the clutch is the stall. Before you go modding the clutch out, give it a little time to break in. When the time comes, give either Dalton or Vforce John a call. You can change a lot by simply swapping the spring.
The Kawie clutch you will find is much easier to modify than the Yami.
So the airbox wont lean it out too much? It seems to run kinda hot but it is a bigger engine than I'm used too and its new. Should I get a new filter while I'm at it?I would get the EHS box and the guard first. Don't mess with the fuel unless you think you are running very lean. The Brute from the factory was running pretty good AF/R as it is in my opinion. Unless they changed something in the last year.
Plus the controller is a pain in the arse to install. Nothing like the Grizz.
Yes, I would definitely get the UNI or Twin Air. Then get with Eric at EHS and talk to him about the setup. He has more experience with the Brute on the Dyno than I do.So the airbox wont lean it out too much? It seems to run kinda hot but it is a bigger engine than I'm used too and its new. You know anything about the trails over in Shenendoah Forest area? My buddies keep talking about riding over there.Man you're getting me excited for you! :blob10: I almost bought one of these quads.
Unfortunately I can't report on those trails. I think there is only two and from the other trails I've seen in VA I don't have high expectations of it. Not that I wouldn't mind going. My wife's brother-in-law owns a rental cabin in the vicinity.You know anything about the trails over in Shenendoah Forest area? My buddies keep talking about riding over there.
