So what do you guys think I should ask for my quad loaded with everything in my sig? I wanna getta Gade.

Actually it no longer has the Dobeck or the Dyna CDI. It now has a Velocity box which takes care of both of those but the Elkas are $2400 alone if u bought them new and they have about 100 miles on 'em of easy riding and no jumps.

You've kept that Grizz in good operating order Buster, there is no doubt about that, and it certianly has been a great vehicle. I would start by finding the blue book value for the miles/hours and condition. I think KBB has an ATV catagory. Then you punch in your mods allowing for depreciation (sp) and then of course you must consider the market. Look around and see what other quads in the same catagory (or as close as you can get) are bringing.

My personal experience is that Ebay works. If you could find someone to build a really nice html page for your auction page that would be awesome. ;;t;;
Good points and my plan was eBay and Craigs List. I jsut really don't want to get into building a crate for mine like you had to do.

As for the EBay page, seeing as that I do web design, I think I can handle the appearance of that.

To get what I want out of it, it will probably take patience to find the right person that is just intrigued by all of the add-ons and has the money to spend. Of course, since it's tax return time, it would be a good time since people will be getting tax return funds back.

There was a bit of sarcassasm in the remark about html. I have the utmost confidence in your ability to create a web page. I have only had two experinces with Craigslist and both were negative. The first someone tried to take my money for a product that didn't exist and then someone stole a picture of my quad off ebay and was trying to sell it at the same time for a much lower price! A good friend was also nearly taken by scam with a vehicle.

You may not want to build a crate, and I don't blame you. It was a pain, but you have to remember, this is a failing economy and the person who wants the quad may not be within a feasable driving distance. My sale was open to only the US, and local pickup only, but my tune changed when the money was elsewhere. If this happens, I have a very good shipping company to use and I can also provide you with some first hand information for building the crate. I know now what to do different and how to make it all happen easily.

I have to think with all those mods you can get around $6500-$7000. Which would be really very good. I was looking at gades the otherday. The dealer here had a 2009 Gade in red for 6800.
How about that 1679CC Wolverine that was in Dirt Wheels? Haha...too bad its fake...
Sell the Elka shocks separately, and you will still get the same amount out of your ATV with the OEM shocks back on it.
Do you think so Phil. Interesting point of view. I figured the Elkas would help the sale to the right buyer.

One other thing to possibly consider is will your elkas work on a Gade? If so I think i'd want to save them.
They wont work on a Gade. Get the Gade-X and it will be better than a Grizzly with Elka's anyway.

Buster, I've sold ATVs both ways several times, and I always come out money ahead if I sell the shocks separately.

The gade-X is actually what I want simply b/c it has some upgrades already done to it like skids, suspension, wheels, etc. I also prefer the black color.

I was just always curious if the upgraded supension that comes on the X was actually worth the price difference or if I would still be itching to replace it with Elkas.
