I want to install trail lights on the front and rear of my 660 in addition to the headlights and tail light. I've tried researching the manual to see how much the 660 system will take, but it requires all of this crazy math and conversions. :dontknow: I'm looking at 35w lights like the Warn trail lights. NO I'm not scared of the dark, but I don't like being left in the dark either if ya know what I mean.

Well if we do do some quick math with Ohm's law at 12 volts with 35 watts of power you will draw around 3 amps. Double that and you have 6 amps of course. You should be well within the limits of the charging / electrical system. The only thing I could see posing a problem would be if you were runinng the rest of the lights and the winch a lot. This might run the battery down.

Thanks for breaking it down like that. To address all lights and winch, for each set of lights I intend to have a sperate switch through the key switch and fused. I can't imagine needing all lights at the same time. But am I wondering if this idea is over kill. Perhaps one 35w on the back. I think it would look better with two though. hmmm.

I'm also thinking about mounting the front lights on the rack for visibility in low light when the plow is installed. (I don't like the lil "tree" thing I've seen.) This would make the warn bumper look silly though with those large holes wide open. hmmm
