How difficult to replace Honda 300EX clutch?

I was just wondering how difficult it would be to replace a clutch in a honda 300ex. I have a buddy who's clutch went out and I'm pretty mechanically inclined but I have never replaced one on the 300ex.

It has been a long time since I have worked on a Honda clutch. But memory serves me that it isn't that difficult.
if you have replaced anything that has a clutch basket they should be relatively the same or at least I would think so..The hardest part for me was always getting the friction disks and springs right, other than that the 250x and 300 ex are the same.

Hey all, first post... I am having a horrible time getting my clutch basket off on my 1995 300ex, I only see the big 1 and 1/16th bolt in the center... any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
Have you tried to look at the Honda Parts Fische to see the exploded view of all the components?
