You say HMF Optimizer, I think you are talking about a fuel controller. If this is the case I would assume it ties into your fuel injector. Just unplug the fuel injector connection from the controller, the controller from teh fuel injector, then plug the injector connection into the injector and of course you will have to remove the hot and ground wires.

I can't say this is gospel, but it's my guess.

Nate is correct on the disconnection of your fuel controller. On the back side, kinda on top of the fuel injector is the plug for the fuel controller. Your fuel controller has 2 plugs coming off of it, one plugged into the fuel injector, another plugged into the factory wiring harness connector. Once you snap the fuel controller plug off of the injector, put the factory plug back on that connector. Then disconnect your ground wire to the fuel controller.

The fix is pretty simple, either more gas to keep the exhaust flowing, quit doing wheelies or put a snorkel on your exhaust.

It is the same thing as if you were to cup your hand over it while idling.
man when the snorkle goes under though it runs fine.. but when it's off the bike tries to stall until it's like level or something... like riding the exhaust under watter it's fine until... i wheelie.. and dudei need to wheelie man i ride deep

sounds more like a pressure issue thing. You have different volume of air flow with the snorkel on than you do with just the straight can.

Originally I was thinking that the problem may be steam being ingested into the air intake.

and just to clarify, it doesn't try to stall during an out-of-water wheelie?
