HANDLEBAR POLL

I'm looking at replacing my bars and thougt I'd see how many people actually do this mod. At first I was going to post brands in the poll, but there are so many options I decided to keep it simple. Feel free to comment on your set-up.

Oh yeah, I'm considering a Solex, Renthal, Moose, and EVO all in the 1 1/8" diameter.

Wow Buster! Thanks for all that G2 (That's military for intel). ;;t;; To be honest, I had considered 3.5" rizers max and will probably go with Rox Risers. Tell you what bro that was good info there, you should throw a review up on those Solex's and I'll go ahead with the Renthals and do the same.

Not sure the price you have for the Renthals but motocrossgiant.com has a pretty good price on the Solex bars. Just call them to see if they have them in stock. They didn't when I ordered but had them shipped out to me within a couple days.

Here's a link to the Sloex page.

Here's a link to their Renthal fatbars page.

You'll see the Solexes are actually a little cheaper.
I was thinking about going ahead with the Renthals just because. I was looking at Dennis Kirk but will look around to ensure I get the best deal. Thanks for the linkage bro. I'll look at them when I get home.
Ok...just bit the bullet yesterday and called Rox. I'm getting a 3.5" riser with a Trail Tech X ATV Hi bend. Also ordered some hand guards and grips. (Bar pad & Center piece too). I hope to get it all installed this weekend even though I won't be able to adjust them properly if I don't get my plastics. I'll post some pictures if I get them installed...and I will write a review on the bars.

Well, I just got word it was accidently shipped somewhere else and is now being sent back to somewhere in NJ. Doesn't matter though. I can't ride it hard for nearly a month.
To complete the dipping process an item is normally heated to expidite the curing or drying process. This can not be done with this type of plastic as it will release gases and cause the clear coat to fail or "bubble". So, it takes 30 days for this clear coat to completely cure. I will be able to assemble the quad (carefully) and ride slow non-aggressive rides but it is recommened to be pretty cautious for the 1st 30 days.

In addition, I would like to have the decals for the quad made up before releasing photos of it. This has not been negiotated but is a work in progress. I need to get the specs from Jamie so I can pursue this.

Taking everything into consideration, I was not upset about the plastic SNAFU. If they are messed up...different story. I'll be cashing in that insurance but it doesn't help me get my quad back.
