I got a challenge yesterday, and figured I would post it to see what you all think before we actually try it and then we will post the results! My buddy challenged me his 2005 KFX 400 against my 2008 Grizzly 700. His quad is stock with synthetic oil, my grizz has: HMF dobek gen 3, HMF ultility series slip-on, Dynatek Revbox, hanger mod, EHS airbox. He is running 22" dunlops, and I am running my 26" mudlites and we may make a couple runs with my 25" dunlops. I do currently have the rack and winch off the front so that saves me some wieght. I think he will still beat me, but I am not counting out the grizz yet, it should be interesting. Who do you think is going to pull out the win?:boxing1:

Don't count out the grizz. Your tires are going to hurt you big time with the hole shot unless you have a clutch kit in, and if you have a clutch kit in the top end is going to hurt you. I would say if you have the dunflops on you will take him. With the 26" tires I think it will be real close. I hope you can video the the match!

Let's put it this way; if a 700 can hang in with a BF750, I think you should be able to run a 400 KFX. Keep in mind a lot of it is on the operator though. Good luck!

Yeah I put on my revbox today and I think I will have him, but the dynamics are going to be close with him lighter, but I will try to video tape it. The same buddy then suggested that I run my Grizz against my 08 Dodge Magnum R/T, so I may video that too, I think that race will depend on the distance we are racing! Thanks for the encouragement!

I think you may have a pretty good shot against the R/T until you get off road. If that R/T is anything like the Dukes of Hazard Charger then the Grizz is gonna have problems..:cheer:

Well lucky for me the R/T doesn't have enough ground clearance for off road! So I should be ok, but it is a very fast car and it tops out at 126 which is pretty substantial! Like I said thought it depends on distance, I think in a short race I will take the R/T but in a 1/4 miles I think it would have me, because the grizz would top out!
