Price County Wisconsin
The events are now lined up for the first-ever Great Northern ATV Rally & Off-Road Challenge, set to be held in Park Falls, Wis., June 6-8.
The three days of "maximum off-highway vehicle adventure" starts Friday night in downtown Park Falls, a small ATV-friendly community in the heavily wooded north-central part of the Wisconsin. The first event goes down at the Blue Line Club's hockey arena with an ATV sled pull.
On Saturday, registration and a welcoming ceremony will be held at the Tuscobia Trailhead County Park. Following the ceremony, things get dirty with the MudRun , held at Wojcieszak's Sportsman's Lounge.
Saturday night three bands will play on the street by Triangle Park in downtown, with beer tents, vendors, displays and more. At dusk there will be fireworks at the nearby athletic field.
Riders will also get the chance to hit the Tuscobia trans-state trail, which has been recently refurbished and updated.
Sunday at noon is the Off-Road Challenge at Moose Jaw, approximately 20 minutes east of town on scenic Pike Lake. The Rally itself will be ongoing throughout the weekend.
Vendors, manufacturers, aftermarket shop displays, an arts & crafts show, tents, food and entertainment are all part of the mix.
Park Falls is located on northern Wisconsin's extensive ATV and snowmobile trail system. There are many hotels and resorts with direct trail access for an all-ATV weekend.
