Went track'in yesterday (08 Jan 10) ... it was a cool sunny day. Started out with the temp being minus 12 degs F ... but it warmed up to about 20 degs F if our temp gauges are accurate.

My buddy and I covered a lot of new ground, we rode for about 7 hrs, and put 34 miles on the bikes by the GPS. The snow wasn't very deep, it had no base & it was just a fine sugar with no compaction. We were hitt'in rocks & other stuff under the snow all day.

My buddy hit a small tree just under the snow & it knocked his track off the drive sprocket.

Luckily, it knocked it towards the A-arm, if it had knocked it the other way, it would of came off.

As it was, I was able to grab the inside edge of the track & pull out as hard as I could ... then he would drive forward really slow ... and after a few minutes ... we was back on the trail !!!

I will say ... the audio on this camera is lite years better than the GoPro I have. It sounds "Real" and "True To Life" ... however, I'll be more than tickled to make a small clip of the unedited video ... ccasion14:

Hell, I assumed it was the contour also since the first video was posted on the VHOLDR site. I think Gunny is confusing, rather than GW being confusable.
