The Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) season is now underway. As best I can tell there are a lot of people on the site from West Virginia so I thought I share with you that the GNCC has a race scheduled at Snowshoe, WV.
The GNCC is America's premier off-road racing series and encompasses everything from mud to pavement. It is a race of endurance as well as speed and only the strong finish up front. Races last nearly 3 hours and are VERY commpetitive. Bill balance on his Yamaha took his 8th Championship last year but is expected to have a fight on his hands this year with many upcoming great riders. As I mentioned, one of the races will be held at Snowshoe Mountian resort in the wild and wonderful West Virginia. It showcased at Snowshoe last year and had a really great turn out. Snowshoe is a wonderful vacation destination and has plenty to offer for everyone. You can get a room overlooking the basin where all the racing will be taking place and man, it literally sounds as if the good times are unlimited. For more information visit the resorts web site.
