Make sure they go on new handle bars with rox risers - they work better in that configuration.
Well I haven't gotten those yet... when did ya send `em Jack? If ya haven't sent them yet, you can put them in the same box as the airbox lid, that way you can save on shipping! :)

Anyone put these on stock grizzly 700 rims before? It doesn't look like I'm gonna have enough room... :BangHead:

I had the same problem. Now im in AA and sober !! :beer"

You REALLY have to modify the rims a lot to get the hand guards to fit properly. If they are the slightest bit off they will rub when you turn hard to the left.

You can't move anything on the stock 700 bars... there's a piece welded to the bars to hold everything from sliding anymore to the left, and the throttle assy. has a small tab that sticks out to block what little room you could have between that and the brake reservoir and the hand brake...

You can remove that metal tab thingy with a die grinder or regular grinder and allow for enough room to mount on the stock bars. I did this prior to my new bars arriving way back then.

I like cutting stuff with the die grinder. Never tried cutting a weld with a dremel tool with the convenience of a large compressor and a die grinder. I've also got a DeWalt 18volt die grinder that's pretty nice, just bulky.

yeah... that was my thought... I just don't know if I have a die grinder at my place... I think it's probably up at my house in Illinois... I was probably just gonna wait til then to mount these...
