Title Sponsor GBC Motorsports Sets the Pace with Introduction of Four New Tires at Upcoming WPSA Virginia National.

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- GBC Motorsports (www.gbcmotorsports.com), a division of Greenball Corporation dedicated to the powersports industry, is setting the pace as the title sponsor of the WPSA Virginia Nationals (www.southforkmx.com) with a new website and ad campaign supporting the national launch of four new ATV tire lines.

As the title sponsor of the WPSA Virginia Nationals, GBC Motorsports
is preparing to launch four (4) new aggressive tires. Designed to "leave nothing undiscovered," the all-new tires include the Afterburn, Dirt Commander, Grim Reaper, and the Spartan A.C.R. These tire lines join GBC's other brands of performance ATV and motorcycle tires, including the Dirt Devil II, Mudbuster, and Gator.

The launch of the four tires will be heavily supported by a soon-to-be launched GBC Motorsports website, www.gbcmotorsports.com, and national advertising campaign by the Artime Group (www.artimegroup.com). Embodying the off-road lifestyle, the new GBC Motorsports website and ad campaign will appeal to the typical rider with hip and carefree imagery and messaging that focuses on family, mountain trails and crossing streams.

"We are dedicated to providing our dealers with the latest tires from the most reliable sources worldwide at a competitive price. These four new tires demonstrate our ongoing commitment to grow our business and become a major player in the industry," said Randy Tsai. "The GBC Virginia Nationals is the perfect venue to launch the marketing campaign and create excitement about our new tires."

The WPSA Virginia Nationals will take place on Saturday, June 30th and Sunday, July 1st at Virginia Motorsports Park outside of Petersburg, Virginia. Qualifying races will be held on the preceding Thursday and Friday. Televised coverage of the two races will be provided by ESPN2, with Round One televised on August 18, 2007 followed by Round Two on August 25, 2007. The televised race coverage will begin at 12 P.M. ET.

Both tires look very good in my opinion.
Tell me about it. They do look great. I'm torn as to which one I like more. The tread on the commander is more me, but the radial desing of the spartan is what I like. :book1:
I wonder how much those Dirt Commanders weigh?
NIICE I'm torn too! I'm thinking the Spartan looks best, but that's tuff. :dontknow:
It is tough! I'm looking forward t otheir other designs!
Can't wait for them to be released. I want to test a set. :blob10:
They do look like good tires. The Commander tread design worries me though. With all the center tread bars angling in one direction, will this cause them to drive your machine sideways when they do spin.
Info is up on GBC's website...now to decide on which ones and get a set!

The tires look a little different than posted above (mostly the afterburn). Anyways, here's some direct links.

GBC Dirt Commander

GBC Afterburn

GBC Spartacus

Note: GBC was calling the Spartacus a Spartan but that names seems to have gone away.

OK....I'll volunteer to test a set of the Spartans. I promise to run 'em hard and often.

Perhaps the tires on the other side are oriented/angled the opposite way???
