When you get the new sheave, put it next to your stock one. Take a flick of the faces, the stock one (on the 660 anyway) has two flat areas next to the center mounting hole.
The Fix Power Sports sheave will only have one. (Notice that in the attachment you used) .... Also, show the two shim washers & where they go, cause there are no pictures with the instructions. ( I skimed thru the instructions & thought, "WHAT ??" .. I had to read them a couple times, Ok, I may be slow, but I was excited & trying not to hurry. That's how things get missed)
Had I known I was going to be posting a thread on what my results where, I would of taken some flicks ..... so that task now falls on you ...... :icon_thumleft:

Although I would love to say that I could post comparative type pics like that, it's not something we're going to be able to do due to our agreement with Fix. since this is a new product that nobody else has available as of yet, Fix's R&D and final design would be something desirable for the competition. Quite simply, we're not gonna post pics that could show a possible design idea to their competitors.
Sorry for the sad news, but that's only fair to them for providing it to us.

The sheave will arrive tomorrow and I will install it tomorrow evening. I'm gonna go ahead and tear the bike down tonight to be ready for it as I would like to give it a test tomoorrow evening.
I'll be off work Thursday so will be getting some seat time to give this mod a test and write a full review.
I have big hopes and expaectations for the sheave so hopefully it will live up to it.
I assure everyone, as soon as I can hit the seat for a few minutes with this, I'll post back with an initial impression.

Yeah, this could potentially be the biggest low to mid-range gain for the money with the added bonus of top-end gains. So, I'm sure it will be of interest to many Grizzly owners. Believe me, it can't get here fast enough.

I'm pretty sure you are gonna be very pleased. I love it with my tracks and last nite I took them off & put my 27" 589's on for a desert ride this weekend. I wanted to make a run down the street, but the last time I did that, one of my friendly neighbors called the law on me.
So I just did some driveway runs, blipping the throttle. I was grinn'in from ear to ear. The wife comes out & tells me to quit act'in like a little kid ... I kick & stomp my feet, fold my arms over my Manly Man chest & reply .... "NO ! And you can't make me !"" ... she just shakes her head & goes back in the house. I tell you, she just doesn't understand me & my needs !
I can't wait to get out & apply some serious throttle this weekend. Hopefully, BusterW, you'll get to do the same. I'll be real interested in what you write.
I think you all will be pleasantly surprised.

I know how this feels. I let a friend ride my shifter kart down the street and in one pass, a walker called "Tha Man" and my friend got not one but 2 tickets. One fell through and the other cost $430. Ooops.

There are quite a few pipes here but also some factory exhaust. Uni seems to be the most popular filter on the Grizzlies.

After I wrote about the K&N's I got think'in about the Uni-Filter. I should of written, A better filter setup ... but you got the drift.
About beat'in me to the punch ... why do ya have to brag & rub it in ?? That's just mean !
I hope that you DO get the gains I did. Cause if ya don't, you're gonna think I'm blow'in smoke ... even if we have different machines with different sheaves. But, I have faith in Fix PS & I'm thiink'in you're gonna enjoy what what ya get.

That's interesting and we appreciate your response. Don't have a lot of Rhino guys on here but if we had enough SxS interest, we could start a SxS area.

Well, the sheave was delivered this morning and I installed it this afternoon.
My first impression without only 10 minutes of seat time is WOWSER! I had to give a few minutes of break-in and settling the fresh grease into the sheave and around the weights before I noticed the substantial gain. After that, it was quite impressive. It gave some unreal low-end to mid-range additional power. An area that I used to be able to get to 50 max speed on my street from a running about 25 and jabbing it, I was able to hit 54 before I had to get outta the gas in the same distance with the factory sheave.
Tomorrow will give me a better idea after additional break-in/grease settling time but it can only get better. From what I can tell of the power gains which resulted in me hitting the higher max speed in a short areatells me the quad is pulling harder now.
