Recently my Grizz has a developed a new problem. It's not the stalling issues that's inherent with these bikes when they are new. What's happening is that while I'm plowing snow, I have it on low and have the revs up. I push the snow in to the snow pile and throttle the bike a bit for the last push. Once I come off the throttle the bike just dies. Is this just an ajdustment on my fuel controller?

Koko this is happening with the Brute as well. I thought like you told me it was just warming up. However when it is cold and I load up on the trailer and gas it and then let off the gas it will stall. So i guess I have the same question

Try pulling the spark plug and inspecting it. See if it is running lean or rich in this particular operation.

Thom,

Your bike is new so I would wait to get at least 200 miles on it before you start worrying about fuel mapping.

Sounds like a plan. Your bike is new Thom. Plus don't fire up and just load it up on the trail. Let it warm for a few minutes. I know it feels like forever but you really should warm up an engine before you take off.

I am being totally serious here, maybe bad fuel??

When was the last time you put fresh from the pump fuel into the tank?

I actually just filled it with about 4 gallons of fresh fuel with stabilizer in it sometime last week. It's done this most of the winter and happens only when pushing a serious pile of snow with the RPM's way up running in low. Once the load is off the engine and I'm usually reach for the reverse lever it just dies. Other than that it runs great.

Hmmm, sounds like the EFI isn't giving it enough fuel when it's coming down from a high.

I have had a few problems with this, usually its because I put too much stabilizer in. My method is usually the, "Yea, that looks about right," approach. I'm sure you measure it out slightly better than that.

You never know, I guess it could be that.
