cv boot help

I got a cv joint fixed it had a crack in it, the boot was fine, soo the dealer used the same boot... BUT theres a hole in it already and i got the new boot that camp with the cv joint... and me and my buddy cut the old one off, but we can't get the cv joint off.. wve tried hitting it with a hammer. pulling it off and a punch to it and it's not moving boys... sooo could someone please give a me a site link or post of some pictures how they did it or explain it really welll thanks ahead

They are very hard sometimes to get off. You really got to yank on it hard.
Different rig altogether, but I used an old piece of grounding rod and placed it on a non breakable part and wacked it good with a heavy hammer. It came off. There was a circlip on the inside that had to be replaced after it came apart.

ya thanks for the help we got it we BEAT the sh*t outta it, and it still wouldn't then we flipped it over and wacked it once and it poppped right off soo shes all good boyz
