I'm sure by now that you guys are getting tired of my rookie questions, but how else is an idiot supposed to become smart?

Consider this set up:
07 Grizz 660
26" Tires
12" ITP SS Rims
4x450 weights
Dynojet Kit
UNI Filter
Exhaust Tip

In your opinion(s) would a CDI box help me any more? If it did, the way I understand the CDI System, it would help on the high end of the power band, and possibly cold starts? Am I off track here?

I'd go with an actual exhaust before I went with a CDI on the 660. I think the big allure for a CDI is on the 700 Grizz to cure an inherent timing issue that causes a midrange "miss" that becomes more noticeable when you mod the engine.

There shall be no piping. How would a CDI hurt? Not flaming, I'm seriously dumb to this.

It won't hurt anything. But You most likely get the most bang out of it without more air in and more air out. A CDI will advance or retard timing some as well as give a hotter spark on some kits. So if you wanna make it burn more fuel it has to have more air.

I don't think a CDI would hurt you at all. But in terms of a performance "bang for the buck" a pipe will get you there. there's a couple aftermarket pipes that are not very loud. I never added one because of how loud they were, until HMF came out with the swamp series. I don't even have to run a quiet core. The best test is my wife, she didn't even notice a difference.
