Our graphics kit arrived from Blown Concepts in Minnesota. Robb did a great job desiging this set to fit the Renegade and it is a very high quality and thick material.

We will be changing the yellow vent covers on the front to black and do something about the handguards being yellow, but here are a couple of shots of it.

I would guess it all depends on if he's done one before for whatever model someone needs or has one available (that he hasn't done) so he can get teh measurements for the Kit.

Robb did however design a great looking kit for a Grizzly 700 for Rox Speed FX so I know he has the layout available for it.

Here's a gallery of the Rox Grizzly700 so you can see the graphics kit that Blown Concepts designed for it.

Thanks John! Long time no see bro!

I'm still trying to get used to all the white on the back fenders. I may get it reprinted in red if I can't get used to it. Nonetheless, it is a really thick kit too that will offer excellent protection to the black plastics. That was my bigget concern about buying a black quad and they do scuff very easily. however, now with the Blown Concepts kit, they can remain looking new underneath what all is covered. There is a minimal amount of original plastic visible which is great for fender protection.

The overfenders are a must on a Gade. The front fenders do not offer much pretection from mud or water holes so I consider it a must have add-on period!

Thanks Stray!

We've still got some work to do on the appearance. I don't particularly care for the yellow with all the red. I personally think the small bits of yellw here and there take away from the awesome job Robb did on the graphics, but that's just my opinion.

We have some other items on the way for it that will be very impressive. But, it looks like about a week or so before they will arrive.

What about those yellow shocks? What you gonna do with them?

If you get rid of them would they fit a grizzly? Haha....

i hear ya! those yellow accents on the front fenders may look good white, i dunno. how about the yellow on the back of the seat, you gonna dye that? i'd suggest trying to get a set of the red springs off of a base model gade w/ red plastics. maybe you can find someone who has upgraded to elkas. but i definitely agree, they did an awesome job with the kit! :eek:ccasion14:

Well the shocks are certainly a concern b/c that will be the most difficult part of the yellow to remove. One method requires a large expense and the other is a pain in the back side.

Option 1 is to replace the shocks with Elkas, which I actually would prefer to do. However, that's a lot of change to fork out.

Option 2 is to remove the shocks, pull the springs off and have them powder-coated red or white. However, I've never disassembled a motorccycle shock and don't know what it entails. It may not be that bad.

And no, they won't fit a Grizz. If they were the same size, I would kept the Elkas I had on my Grizz for this quad.

I dunno about the front vent being white. I would really prefer them to be more hidden than sticking out. So, I'm conidering black for them.

As for the springs, I know the ones for the basic are red but i don't know if they're the same spring and I'm doubting they aren't since the X has a beafed up suspension.

As for the seat, we're working on something for that right now and waiting to hear back from the manufacturer to see if they can send us a complete see. The only other option is to send them my entire seat, let them cover it and return it to me. That would mean i would be without a seat for roughly 3 weeks which we aren't willing to do for the project.

Well I have a very reputable upholstery shop that completely made a set of cover for a 928 Porsche I had when I was a teen. However, I want something made for a quad that the average Joe can go purchase.

We have a company we're working with out in California for a seat cover right now but they don't have a Renegade seat to work from. They could get me one out in a day or so if I sent my seat but round trip we're talking roughly 3 weeks without a seat.

Let me clarify a couple of things on that comment. I bought an X purely b/c I like black and don't like red plastics and damned sure not yellow! The added bonus for me was that it came with skids. However I didn't realize ahead of time how minimal they were. It also had beafed suspension I read good things about. However, compared to Elkas, there is no comparison, PERIOD! But, Elkas are a lot of dough! The tires are the same on the standard model and the X and I don't like holeshots myself. Many can-am riders have no problems with them but they aren't for me. Plus, I like everything custom.

Nothing I have remains stock in any shape form or fashion for any amount of time which is proven by the looks of our Project-X quad. This project is phemonenal in that we are getting parts for it to review that some people may consider buying but may not be sure if it's worth the money. Many people are into aesthetics, many others are into handling or performance upgrades which is exactly what Project-X will encompass in its entirety as time passes along with items like maneuvaribilty like winches and skids.

The quad is awesome in stock form and why not make it better in every way possible and that's exactly what we are doing....showing people how to make it an even badder machine than Can-Am made it! We could not do that for this build without the exceptional sponsors that we have gained thus far, and hopefully there will be more as we find them or they find us.
