I have been told that the Bighorn 2's will be available lose to the end of July or first part of August.
Interesting. I was under the impression that they were already out there. Like a 3 to 4 weeks ago. This may cause issues wit me. I'm not in a position to wait. I remember talking to Maxxis direct and now for the life of me I can't remember when that release date was....now where is that thread. :BangHead:

BTW, welcome home.

Ok ok ya'll I git the drift.

:bootyshake:

I wonder why Maxxis is taking so long getting these pushed out? I mean they're listed on the Maxxis site.

Maybe...just maybe they'll be available. (Fingers crossed) I'd really like to get them, but can't really wait for later. I want/need to get on my quad.

If all else fails I can just get the good ole Bighorn originals.

I have earned up enough money to get my paws on a set of big horn 2.0s. Just waiting on someone to get them in stock!

Terracross' scare me. They don't have a good name for being puncture resistant. Thats what i am concerned about.

I was under the impression that they (ITP) addressed that flaw in the new XD design. Reports say the all new compound is more puncture resistant. Don't know first hand, but there are a couple people running them and I haven't heard of any complaints.

Terras have been known to be puncture prone in the past. The XD Terras are suppose to address this problem. However, I've not heard reports as to the validity of that from users to this point. From the specs on them, it should be the case that they are now more durable.

I ride with alot of people who run terra's and 4 of us run 14" rims with 26" and have not had a single problem with punctures. It is pretty rocky where we ride up in the mountains and we used to get flats all the time before we had the terra's. I had 27" XTR's before and had 9 plugs and would bottom out the sidewall quite often and with the terra's it never happened once. The only thing I hate about terra's is the higher speed wobble that is really only noticeable on pavement but it is there. I am thinking I may get the 2.0's myself.
