ATV Product Review :Two Brothers Racing M-7 Slip-on Exhaust System
The
Two Brothers Racing exhaust systems have always caught my eye. I decided it was time to get one and put it through an ATVTORTURE.COM review. Having a Grizzly 700 test bike, I ordered the M-7 slip-on system.
First Impression

</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Attention to detail makes theTwo Brothers Racing exhausts stand out among many other exhaust manufactures.
</td> </tr> </tbody></table>
It is evident, even in the packaging of the M-7 that
Two Brothers Racing pays close attention to detail. The box the exhaust comes in would be suitable for protecting fine china. No way this exhaust could get damaged or scratched during shipping!
The M-7 V.A.L.E (
Variable
Axis
Locking
Exhaust) also features an exclusive Teflon-coated, blunted, cast magnesium outlet and exclusive X-Lite™ retaining ring which mates the mirrored polished head pipe to the canister. These exclusive
Two BrothersRacing features not only look great, but also significantly reduce the weight of the exhaust system. The M-7 comes with a U.S.D.A. spark arrester installed along with the P1 power tip. It is the best looking exhaust system I have tested to date.
<table align="right" border="0" width="175"> <tbody><tr> <td>

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>
The P1 PowerTip quiets the pipe by 2 to 3 dB while actually adding measurable HP gains from the middle to the top of the powerband.
</td> </tr> </tbody></table> Installation instructions are clear and concise.
Two Brothers Racing also includes a Torx wrench to connect the head pipe retaining ring to the canister and install or remove different exhaust tips. Installation took me approximately 25 minutes and required the removal of the heat shield from the stock Grizzly 700 exhaust to be re-used on the
Two Brothers M-7.
The V.A.L.E™ inlet design eliminates the use of springs and creates an adjustable mount that is rock solid when fixed in place. The system also features a precision mandrel bent, thin-wall s-bend tube which is polished to a mirror finish. I really hated to mount the
Two Brothers M-7 on the ATV because I didn’t want to get this sexy thing all dirty.
<table align="left" border="0" width="200"> <tbody><tr> <td>
</td> </tr> <tr> <td>
The M-7 exhaust system is a perfect compliment to your new ATV. It not only looks great; but it performs great also.
</td> </tr> </tbody></table> The M-7 barks a throaty sound which, unlike many other systems I have been privileged to experiment with, is not obnoxious. Noise through the entire RPM range is tolerable; however, after an all-day ride on the quad, it did start to bother my ears. I was glad to dismount the ATV and take a break from the sound.
Two Brothers offers a Q1 Quiet core insert which acts as a noise dampener and supposedly quiets the system to 96 decibels. I have not tried the Q1 quiet core insert, so I cannot comment on its effectiveness.
Most after-market exhaust systems require modification of fuel delivery. Since the Grizzly 700 is fuel injected,
Two Brothers Racing sells a fuel controller called the Juice Box™, which features simple plug-and-play installation and quick-and-easy adjustment using carburetor tuning logic which takes less than 15 minutes to install.

The Juice Box™ fuel controller is a must to properly tune and get the most out of the TBR exhaust system on the Grizzly 700.
</td> <td class="style7"> Quality construction stands out in every aspect of the TBR M-7 exhaust.
</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

Ride Report
Throttle response was instantly noticeable across the entire range; however, the most noticeable gains were in the mid to top end of the throttle range, which seems to be typical with the Grizzy 700. After 10 mph there is a definite snap in power which makes for fun accelerations in the straight stretches and crazy power slides.
Conclusion
We have tested the
Two Brothers M-7 system on all types of terrain. I have literally tried to make the M-7 fail and cannot. Bottom line: it’s tough, it’s powerful, plus it sounds and looks great. Prices may be a bit higher than most exhaust manufacturers at an MSRP of $329.98, but you definitely get what you pay for with the
Two Brothers M-7 exhaust system. It is the perfect mix of looks, sound, and performance. I would not hesitate to buy another
Two Brothers Racing product and definitely give it the ATV Torture stamp of approval.
