Here is the C.A.R.B. Executive Order for 950 Thundercat.

1 kilowatt = 1.34102209 HP

The Thundercat produces 49.1 kW which translates to 65.84 HP. For a comparison the Outlander 800 produces 46 kW which translates to 61.69 HP. The Thundercat has 4.15 more HP than that of the Outlander 800. But the Thundercat is almost 60 lbs. heavier.

From everything I have read it's a powerhouse and heavy which affects handling. Although I have never seen a Arctic Cat handle all that well. They are mainly workhorses. The Brute Force or Grizzly in my opinion are better suited for all around machines.

I'd like to have one with tracks on it for snow season. We do a lot of winter riding up here and so far the only machine that really seemed to turn tracks well is the Can-Am 800. Any big bore will do it, but the guy with the Can-Am was even keeping up. This makes me think the T-cat would be a blast.

I read a review at another site that said the TC left the OL in the dust. I still haven't heard anything on the handling. Anyone else been reading any reviews on these monsters?
