Just purchased one of these on Tuesday. I was never one for a soft bag and preferred hard storage boxes in the past. Well that was up until now. This bag is a semi ridgid soft pack with foam inserts that keep the bag up even when not holding gear. It has three large compartments as well as several good size outside pockets and the bungee hold down on top. All the zippers and seams are welded with water proofing. The zippers are then covered with a small type storm flap to keep water out. Attachment is easy with three snap clips that mount around the rack. I test rode it last night under speed with nothing in it. Held up real well and looks good. I am awaiting a chance to get it dirty to see how it cleans up. The bottom foam piece can be removed and or replaced via a zipper. Just figured I would share it with all.

Looks good. I like the soft bag over the hard box myself but I have had no luck with the soft ones. I have had about 4 different ones and they always seem to tear or the straps freeze and break off or the zippers get so jammed with mud when ya try to open them they tear out so I went with a hard box.

I have had the very same problem.

BAg is now junk Last ride tore all four straps off the bag. I will never get a soft bag again. BAck to bolt on cargo boxes.
