Anyone running performance mods that they saw a good gain for the money for? If so, what are they?

i don't believe anyone was running the 500, but i'm not sure. we set ourselves up on a technical hillclimb and a few of the renegades seemed intimidated by the trees and rocks, so they were climbing the hill very tentatively. here's some (cell phone quality) video, i was too into the utility races to take any video, so these are sport quads.

Was that the Pro class afternoon race?

So did you enjoy yourself?

I heard Bike Benson won again and Rick C finished #2. Did you see the finish?
yes, we all had a great time! :beer" we watched the starts at the line, but stayed on the hillclimb for both the races. yeah, i did see that rick got 2nd again - i believe he's still leading the points series though. i had a group with me or i would've liked to talk with some of the riders/mechanics after the race. maybe next time. are you gonna be at the snowshoe race?

I am going to try and be at Snowshoe, Poweline Park and Millfield. The Millfield race is only about 40 minutes away for me. The Snowshoe race will be a good one, Lemanns start and some gnarly terrain. Unfortunately a lot of guys get hurt on that one.

I am just glad to see Mike doing as well as he is. Gives us old guys hope I guess.

true. will you be attending as a competitor, or spectator? i must admit, after seeing it firsthand, i'd love to run one (or more). no expectations of finishing on the podium, just to compete and have fun.

hey guys, I was wondering, how many of you are running pipes on your gades? weather is full pipes, or just slip on's what were the deciding factors for you? my local dealer is great with working on it, but I'm starting to think he's full of hot air when it comes to after market power up's. He told me you can put any pipe on the gade, but there is only one that will increase torque and HP... I thought it was bologna and quickly dismissed it, so I have forgotten the name of it. Any comments about what pipe and why would be appreciated, thanks guys!

i'm still stock, but i believe any good exhaust will net you some performance gains. if i had unlimited income, i'd get the full muzzy system. i've read it shows equal results (on the dyno) to the looney tuned duals. the ron woods full system is also up there with the top performers. on a budget, the hmf slip on is a good choice.
