A Ride Site Like
No Other!

How do you ride ATVs and Side-by-Sides in the middle of a city? Just
ask Polaris! For their Model Year 2009 Dealer Meeting, Polaris created
a ride site in a parking lot in Las Vegas. So how do you turn a
concrete jungle into an ATV and Side-by-Side paradise? Here are some
stats on how Polaris and their Way Out Training Tour team pulled it off.

track featured six separate trails expertly constructed on the 700x300
ft lot with four tunnels/bridges. Seventy-two vehicles were used to
highlight the superior ride, handling and acceleration characteristics
of six new Polaris models, and provided a ride capacity of 1,000 rides
an hour.

With an average daily air temp 105F and pavement temperatures
of more than 120F, ride site workers consumed more than a quart of
water an hour and rotated jobs to stay cool. To beat the heat, dealers
were staged in air-conditioned comfort and the rides combined took the
dealers 30 min or less. While it took nine days to set the site up,
tear down was done in less than eight hours.
