There are all sots of things you can do to the motor to make it scary fast. Myself, I installed a Muzzys Pro, polished the slides, installed a Twin Air Power filter, replaced the velocity stacks with 2002 Prairie velocity stacks and jetted .190. It is scary at the increase that's happened with just those mods. I have done several other mods to the bike itself and am continuing. Stay tuned for the full ATVT V-Force project with engine upgrades.

And, welcome to the site :hello:

Truble!

:club: Im having some truble now its poping, bracking up a bit when i ride also putting flams out the ex-pipe when i let off the gas. I'm a small engin TEC but still learning the V-Twin so im going to check the valves and do a leake down test. anyout tips really help thanks. Also thanks for the feedback GRIZZLYWIZARD:beer"
Before you go doing all of that, check your spark plugs. It sounds like you got one fouled to me. Next, get a few sets and do some plug chops to determine whether it is running rich or lean. Generally flames out the exhaust indicate that you are running too rich.
I just put new plugs in. i have tryed 3 turns 2 1/2 and 2 on the carb and just makes it pop more
Sounds really rich to me.

Are the numbers "FMF Jet kit Frunt [124] Rear [128]" indicating the size jets he's running by chance???

My question is do both plugs look the same or is one richer than the other?

After you get that thing tuned in, you might consider some new treads. On the other hand, I'll bet spinning that quad is a blast!

That would be my first que. (LOL guess I missed that part, or forgot)

By an FMF kit, I am guessing that this kit is most likely made by Dynojet. I will need to get a cross reference to see where you are at.

What all did the FMF kit come with? Springs, needles, or just jets?
Yes they are made by Dynojet. the kit came with jets and needles. im in Florida below 3000. when i called the jets they told me that would be best for me is 124 frunt and 128 rear with stock air box. i set the carbs back to 2 1/2 turns and put a 1'' hole in my air box that got ride of the flams and it dont pop much. but still pops sometimes and dont like to idle cold when can i open up the air box with the 12 hole mod or the set up your running GRIZZLYWIZARD? Thanks for all your help.
BATTLEGUN Yes i love my KFX 700 It halls @$$ and im a Vary aggresive rider and only 115lb there for it dont even know im on it and beats me up i need to upgrade my shocks. and yes i want to upgrade my rear tires with maby mudd lights.

Knock 12 1" holes in you air box. See how it runs then. The trick is to keep adding air and keep adding fuel till it begins to run a bit rich again. Stop messing with the AF screw; just leave that at 2 1/2 turns out.

Why mud lights? There are so many great tires out there that hook up very well and are more durable.

I would agree, mine handles and rides so much better with the Razr 2's. Give Laz a call at GT thunder and see what it would cost you to have your shocks re-valved.

shocks re-valved? GT Thunder? ::confused:: and i hate these hole shots all i do is spin them ride in sand alot and i like to hill climb any steep hill or wash out. finders show lots of stitches.:seesaw:
GT thunder KFX700
Rear Shock Conversion.........................................$385.00

What this includes: We shorten the body to give you more up travel of the rear wheels, we then extend the shaft further out to get the extended shock length close to stock. We revalve the shock to set the compression for you and your riding style, and update the rebound to match the dual rate spring setup that goes with this conversion. We then install a dual rate spring kit that gives us more variation in spring curves then the stock spring. We then test each shock to verify that the updates are all working correctly
There you go. When he is finished, it will perform better than anything from Elka.
Well bad news 12 hole mod KFX Dont like it lol it back fires alot

Try this, block off the front snorkel hole with a lid from a spray paint can and some duct tape.

have you checked the plugs?
