Wow. You sure you don't have a jet ski? you can try taking all elec. connections loose (one at a time) and appling dielectric grease and reinstalling. If you ride water that much I'd def. do that regardless of your current issue.
As it is though, I'd lean toward carb issues. I'm not a mechanic though.
