For those longing for a taste of even more motocross action in 2011, this weekend’s inaugural Monster Energy Cup will arrive in Las Vegas, showcasing a one-of-a-kind hybrid of the Supercross and motocross disciplines.  Representing Moose Racing will be Team Babbitt’s Kawasaki’s Tyler Bowers.  Bowers enters the Monster Energy Cup as the reigning 2011 AMA Arenacross Series Champion, and will look to battle the top riders from the Supercross & Supercross Lites classes.  If you can’t make it to Las Vegas, fans can watch all the action live on SPEED.

On the off-road racing schedule, the WORCS Racing series will be back in action from Adelanto, Calif. for its ninth round of the season.  With only two rounds remaining on the series calendar, now is the time for riders like Justin Soule to make their final push.  Soule, a Monster Energy Kawasaki rider, sits in fifth in the championship, just 30 points out of fourth and 36 points behind third. With two rounds to go, there is still time for Soule to capture a championship podium finish to the 2011 season.
