In today’s fast paced environment, no one has time to spend beautifying their land. I’m no exception. I constantly fight with Mother Nature in my quest for a green lawn and weed destruction. I’ve spent countless hours early in the morning with a push broadcast spreader applying chemicals to my yard to fight weeds and provide nutrients. I’ve also spent many hours with a rake, pitch fork, and good pair of gloves fighting green briars, ivy of all sorts, and just about anything else that can grow. NO MORE! When my wife and I purchased 2+ acres of woodland to build our house on, I vowed that I would not spend the rest of my life engaged in hand to hand combat with Mother Nature.
So I found myself on the way to the local farm store and brought home an ATV Sprayer made by Fimco. Fimco is a renowned company that has been in business since 1966 and produces an array of items to make landscape management a little more, well almost fun! I purchased the Fimco ATV 15-2 Sprayer. Similar to the one pictured here but last year’s model. The only difference is the tank opening and the pump mount location.
This sprayer has a “High Flow” 2.7 GPM pump and holds 15 gallons of any solution you need. While it probably wouldn’t be big enough for a large farm, it will do just fine for my 1/2 acre yard and my 2+ acres of woods. I have already installed the sprayer on my ATV and am waiting for the weather to cooperate so I can make my lawn happy and my fence rows clear. Stay tuned and in a few short months I should have this review ready and I will also include a photo guide to my installation process.
