Hey, an update on the Rancho lift I installed on the wife's truck. I took it to the alignment shop yesterday to have a front end alignment done, and believe it or not, the camber and caster were spot on perfect. Only the toe needed a minor adjustment. I think thats pretty amazing to be able to bolt on those 4" drop brackets and have everything still be in perfect alignment when you're done. Good job Rancho!

I find that extremely hard to believe myself. I am not doubting you a bit 3TV, I have done several lifts in my life and the always resulted in a major re-alignment.

That is great, I will be looking at Rancho for my Avalanche lift one day that's for sure.

My first thought was that the alignment shop didn't know what they were doing. But the truck drives as good or better than stock, so who knows. Maybe I need to take it someplace else and have it rechecked. If the alignment really is perfect after installing a lift like that then it is that way because of blind luck. I'll bet you could install a hundred more lift kits like this on any truck you cared to, and you wouldn't be able to hit it perfect like that again.

So would you take it someplace else and get a "second opinion"?

If you feel it handles properly and trails straight, then no I would leave it alone.

Alignment isn't rocket science, if one shop said it was good then I'd leave it alone.

I am going to seriously consider Rancho for my next lift though!
