limiter question

hey guys i was out for a little ride yesterday here in pa. boy that was a mistake because not as much snow melted as i thought. took me about an hour and a half to go maybe a mile or two. but anyways when riding in four wheel drive NO DIFF LOCK my limiter is kicking in when your on the gas. high or low range, diff lock or no lock. push in the override and its fine. i have never noticed this before and i use 4wd alot. i do have a dynatek cdi box which i thought eliminated the limiter. anyone know whats up?

What kinda RPMs were you turning. There is still a limiter in non-diff lock mode most likely. What quad do you have? I think it was a Grizz700 if I recall correctly. I know on my Grizz700 there was a limiter even in non diff-lock and it was not a very high RPM when it kicked in.
