Need New Tires...

Hello everyone, I have a 2007 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 Auto. I bought this bike new and it now has just over 500 miles on it. The stock tires have left alot to be desired from day one. Basically they wont fall out of a tree. They get very poor traction in all conditions. Lately, I have noticed that they are beginning to dry rot and pieces of the tread are strating to fall off. I need new tires. I ride probably 70% Hardpack, 20% gravel/pavement, and 10% mud. The mud is mainly up by my barn, as I use this bike for work and play. I have pretty much settled on a radial tire. I am torn between 25x8x12/25x10x12 Maxxis Bighorns and 26x9x12/26x11x12 Interco Reptiles. I like the fact that the bighorns have been out for longer but their tread pattern worries me about their ability to self clean. Please anyone with experience with either of these tires give me your take on them. Also, will my bike be able to turn bigger tires, say a 26" bighorn?

25x8x12/25x10x12 Maxxis Bighorns

Would be the choice I would go with.. With that said.. yes your bike will turn the 26's and thats what I would do no clutch work needed.. I'm not sure if your bike would need spacers or aftermarket rims to fit them. but being that they are 25 8 12 on the front i would think they would be fine just check to see if either of your tie rods touch the tire. when fully turned. if you go to 26 I believe they only come as small as 26 9 12 but check that out and if so you will probley need the rims or spacers.
if you choose to install 26's on your stock rims. if they don't touch your good. If they do then it's a choice between what you want to do.

hope this helps,
Cheers
