IRS lock bar

I was reading a fishing site today and a lad mentioned something about an IRS lock bar that is available for around $50. bucks . Anybody ever heard of this and has anybody any knowledge of it ?

I posted to the lad and am awaiting for a reply but I have never heard of such a thing .

Hey trapper, I have heard of these, but have never had the inclination to investigate. Most quads these days have adjustable shocks that would probably eat most of the "give" up when towing heavy stuff. HOWEVER, if one were to install a 3 point hitch on their quad, I could see this being beneficial. Thoughts?

Yes I even think I have seen a 3pt hitch . I did get the info on this bar that was spoke of and apparently it is made by Kolpin part number KOL85200 . I'm going to look it up just because I want to see how it attaches . Like what does it really do for an IRS bike ? If I want to yank anything that bad I'll fire up the tractor or the truck . But I am curious . LOL
