Well, I can't help it. Just overspend your budget and love the reward you get from it.

Congratulations Buster. I'm very interested to hear what you think after a few test rides. If they're like the aftermarket shocks I have, then as good as the suspension improvement is, the improvement in handling will be even more. Enjoy!

Re: turning a boring day to fabulous.....with ELKAS
I cruised around my backyard tonight before it got too late to be cruising with loud exhaust. Intitially, they seem to make a hellatious improvement in handling and ride control over some bumpety-bumps that my quad normally would about bounce my teeth out on. Granted, they're a different feel all around so they will require me making some adjustment to my riding style, but from 5 minutes of easy-course riding, I can see the difference the rebound, compression and lowered height make on maneuvarability and handling.
It's really amazing from the quick test ride. I can't wait 'til the weekend when I can get it out on the wide open trail. Tuesday evening, I'm gonna go for a short couple mile ride that I can zip through and see how it feels.
Overall, the stance is much lower, I think 2 1/2 inches lower but with that lower center of gravity, it feels much better. That, coupled with my new 14" wheels and GBC Dirt Commander tires, the handling is just sick compared to before! I'm now sitting at about 10" at the bottom of the floorboards where before I think I was 12 1/2 inches with my 26" tires.
Once I've tested it a bit, I will add a full review and ride report.
PLUS, this weekend a 11:1 Wiseco goes in if the gaskets arrive in time. WHOOP-WHOOP!!!!
Buster

DUDE! That changes everything! Seriously...for a split second it didn't even look like a grizz (of course I just woke up too )
Seriously man...your quad is looking great and it appears that you are turning it into a race ready beauty.

Re: turning a boring day to fabulous.....with ELKAS
Thanks guys. I just simply can't get over how much lower it looks every time I look at it, especially in person. From the pictures, you simply can't fully grasp the stance it has now. It being lower, looking at it from behind, it almost looks wider as well. Optical illusion obviously but it is pretty bad lookin', I must say.

Re: turning a boring day to fabulous.....with ELKAS
Thats the same thing I noticed with my Grizzly with the Ohlins shocks on it. It almost doesn't even look like a Grizzly anymore. We went for a 65 mile ride over the weekend with our two Grizzly 700s, one of our sons driving the Rhino, another son riding his Raptor 250, another fellow riding a Raptor 700, and another couple riding two up on an Outlander 800 Max. Part way through the day my son and I swapped rides for a while, and I drove the Rhino while he rode my Grizzly 700. After several miles I stopped and waited for the rest of the crew to catch up, and when my son pulled up on my Grizzly 700 I'm like "who is that?" It didn't even look like a Grizzly, but more like a low & wide GNCC race quad pulling up to the group. Definitely a dramatic transformation by going to the aftermarket shocks, thats for sure.
I'm sure you'll really like the Elka's Buster.
