Re: turning a boring day to fabulous.....with ELKAS
The dirt commanders are still doing good and the tread depth is 7/8 inch. Looks deeper than that though. I will be giving a review for those once I get enough miles on 'em and will also be doing a write-up on the Elkas.
I was gonna ride both days this weekend but currently my top-end is off. Not sure I'll get it back together before foul weather falls upon us or not.

Thanks BW, I'll be looking forward to your review. I've got a tire review on Maxxis Mud Bugs in the final draft stage myself.
What seems to be the problem with the top end?

Cool, can't wait to see it.
As for my top-end.....the problem is my continuous need for more power than I currently have.

Now you just made me want to see a KTM Utility! Wouldn't that be the shizdizzle. I'd be happy to have any number of the KTM family in my collection. I'm taking donations. Anyone?

Re: turning a boring day to fabulous.....with ELKAS
Well, I do agree KTM is the only way to go but they have nothing out that I want. If I were in the market for a sport quad, the 505 would be mine. However, at thispoint in my life, I'm into utility as I grew up with fast 2-sroke bikes and 3-wheelers. Now if KTM released a utility, my Grizz would be on the market right away. If they ever do indeed release the SxS, I'll be talking the old man into selling his 660 Rhino for the KTM. I absolutely love their dirtbikes but I just ain't a 2-wheel dude no mo.
However, all that being said, whatever comes out has got to be very impressive with the time, effort and dollars I've spent in getting my Grizz just the way I want it.

I have still got my crosshairs on the 450 and not the 505! Hopefully after the first of the year I will be able to make a move.
