yes, you can adjust them, but... with every adjustment to make it easier to steer, you lose more of the shock absorption. i run my precision stabilizer on a really stiff setting, it's actually the recommended setting for desert racing. i don't mind the extra effort in steering and it soaks up the hits like nobody's business! i think power steering would be an option if you wanted to keep the steering effort reduced.
