Re: Quick Release Sway Bar

I can't see the link, but "quick discconnect" sway bars are common place in the world of offroading jeeps. Simply because it allow for more axle articulation offroad. Applying this to atv's isn't a bad idea at all IMO. But if you are not into slow technical riding in 4 low, then I really don't feel you'll gain a benefit.

Re: Quick Release Sway Bar

That stinks about the link. That is where this guy came up with the idea from jeep off roading. He fabbed up two bolts with pins that run throught hte bushings. He also has a strap that holds it out of place when it is not in use.

Re: Quick Release Sway Bar

Something so simple it escaped the rest of us ...

If a guy disconnected his sway bar often ... & that's the question I asked in another thread, ... or I guess, if you even thought you wanted to disconnect it ... it would be so simple & easy the way this guy did it.

By the way, I couldn't view it either unless I wanted to sign up. Don't see a need to do that.

Now I have ANOTHER project to do .....

Later ...
