Re: Removing Anti-Sway Bar

I just now got out of the shower from cleaning up after taking my sway bar off my 660 grizzly. I would say it is the 700 grizzly that has the slotted collar on the rod ends. My 660 was round and smooth. I had to hold them with pliers to keep them from turning. Just a note for 660 owners it isn't the easiest thing to do.

Re: Removing Anti-Sway Bar

I said I would check back with an update on how we liked the sway bars removed from our atv's. I will put it this way I won't put them back on. The handling in technical terrain is so much better and coming out of offset mudholes the front tires hardly leave the ground. The only negative is the high speed handling on smooth road or flat trails is not too good. Feels like the frame goes one way and the drive train goes another. We can handle this because we don't ride very fast. Bottom line for us is that removing the sway bar is an awesome improvement for our riding style.
