"Regional Discussions" Poll / New Forum Layout

This may be a bit premature but I wanted to throw the question out there: I'm working on a complete redesign of the board which will entail a new forum software and an entirely new cosmetic appearance for the forums. It will also include functional changes for our home page. In the rebuild, we would like to combine areas of the board that we can justify combining so it isn't so busy looking. Obviously, the more popular areas will remain separate.

In reviewing different areas, it doesn't appear as if the "Regional" area is all that popular. So, we want to post this poll to get your opinions since you are the reason we exist.

We encourage you to be honest and give feedback. This thread is also open to you giving us ideas as to what we could include in the new build that possibly you don't see here that you see on other forums you're a member of. In reviewing your responses, and if we have a lot of comments for the same new add-ons, we most post additional polls.

Based on your input, this will help us optimize ATVT in the areas of member-friendliness and information.

Sincerely,

The Review Crew!

Re: "Regional Discussions" Poll / New Forum Layout

Perhaps the referenced is a section that could be an expansion of another section like "Where To Ride" or "Riding Areas" further down the road.

I was fond of the idea of having an interactive map on the main page or in the forums. One that might allow members to upload waypoints etc into it.

Keep up the good work admins!

Re: "Regional Discussions" Poll / New Forum Layout

These are great ideas and something I will look into for the build. A waypoint method would be great for trail riding areas for those of us that have GPS units on our quads or in our trucks.

Thanks!
Buster

I agree. A W2R (Where to Ride) section where members could post trail rides and do reviews of riding areas, with a map that you could click on the area of interest to read more about it, could replace the "Regional Discussions" section.
