Rumors that Polaris was purchased by Honda? Interesting...maybe a controlling interest was purchased. Should be in there annual statment.
I like the thought of 1111cc's in the other thread.

I was actually referring to the fact that Honda rarely does anything major to compete with the other classes. They are still using 20 yr old technology in there quads even.

Maybe it's a good thing I didn't get the RZR S a while back!

Yeah well it may be a sucky new year for me! If its longer, wider or lot heavier than my current S I wont care but if its the same dimensions maybe just a little heavier with more power I will be in a real predicament on what to do lol!

Browsing through an atv magazine on the can yesterday, the author of the article said something about seeing the 850 engine in the SxS's. I'm putting money on it, thats what they're doing. No 1000cc's. Again, this is just my guess. We'll see in 5 days.

I am sure they are doing that. They already have the engine.
But, I had also read that supposedly Polaris has been working on an 1000cc snowmobile engine for a few years now.

Here is a teaser video from Polaris. Let's just hope that this isn't a big disappointment like a simple 850 upgrade.

I definitely appreciate the fact that they did not drag out this release. Thumbs up to you Polaris.
